Installation Process of Windows 8 Pro Step by Step Guide
Installing process of windows 8 will complete into three phase
First of all insert the DVD disk of Windows 8 Pro into the DVD ROM. As soon it will boot from the DVD that is created from your download or purchase from market, the first thing you will see the new light blue Windows 8 logo on a black background, as shown in in the Figure 1. You will see this screen for a few moments while Setup was initializing. You were kind of hoping that the flag would be animated, but the only animations were in dots in a circle.

First of all insert the DVD disk of Windows 8 Pro into the DVD ROM. As soon it will boot from the DVD that is created from your download or purchase from market, the first thing you will see the new light blue Windows 8 logo on a black background, as shown in in the Figure 1. You will see this screen for a few moments while Setup was initializing. You were kind of hoping that the flag would be animated, but the only animations were in dots in a circle.

After some time (It will be in
minutes), you’ll see the Windows Setup screen shown in Figure 2. Here, you
can specify your language settings and click on Next Button. When you will
be doing this, Setup will be performing some more initialization tasks in the
background.

As soon as it will be done, you will
see the Windows Setup screen shown in Figure 3 and now you will
click on the Install Now button.

1. Collecting
Information Phase
When you will click on the Install
Now button, you will see the Enter The Product Key To Activate The
Window dialog box. As you can see in Figure 4. Here, you have to type
windows product key. It should be on the back of the box that windows came in
or in the message that shows you bought windows. Enter your product key and
click on Next button.

In the next step it will ask you for
the acknowledge that you accept the license terms and conditions, as shown in
the following Figure 5. If you have the time to read it, you can read it
and understand about the Microsoft licence terms.
Even if you have not the time to
read the license terms during the installation, once you have installed Windows
8, you can find the Microsoft Software License Agreement in the Windows Help
and Support system - just search with the term Licence. Not only is the
license shorter in length, but it is also much clear and easier to read.
Just enable the I accept the licence terms check box and click on the Next button.

When you are prompted to Choose
which type of installation you want? You have to choose Custom: Install
Window Only (Advanced), in order to perform a fresh installation of Windows
8 as shown in the following Figure 6.
Just click on Custom: Install
Window Only (Advanced) and you will go to next step of windows setup.

When you will prompted to choose
where you want to install Windows, as shown in Figure 7, you will see a
list of many partitions that are currently on your hard disk drive. I have
given you an example for you but you may have a different combination of
partitions depending on your system.

If you want to re-partition your hard
disk drive to begin making partitions, start by clicking Drive options
(advanced). When you do so, you will see a list of commands for managing
partitions, as shown in Figure 8.

Now, you will select the partitions,
one by one, and click on the Delete command. When you will see a confirmation
prompt “The partition might contains important files or applications from your
computer manufacturer. If you delete this partition, any data stored on it will
be lost”. Shown in the following Figure 9. Just click OK button to delete
the partition.

When you delete all of the existing
partitions, you will see as a single partition labeled Unallocated Space, as
shown in the following Figure 10. Now you can create new partitions
according to your requirement (Number of partition with required space). While
you should create a new partition and format it. Windows 8 will automatically
take care of that in the next step. Now click on the Next button.

2. Installing
Windows Phase
As you click on the Next button, the
partition will be formats automatically and moves into the Installing Windows
phase which begins with copying and Getting files ready for installation,
as shown in the following Figure 11. This process will take a 20 to 30
minutes around. It depends upon your system speed. During this process your
system will restart several times. This might take a while. So you can sit back
and relax.

When this process is complete,
Windows will alert you that Windows needs to restart to continue as
shown in the following Figure 12. If you want to restart quickly, you can
click the Restart now button.

When it will be restarting you will
see the black screen with the blue Windows 8 logo and see that Setup is
getting devices ready as shown in the following Figure 13. It will
take few moments.

As
soon as this part of the process is complete, Windows will alert you that it is
going to restart again, as shown in the following Figure 14.

3. Configuring
Windows Phase
As soon as your system restarts, you
will be prompted to choose a color for Windows 8 and a PC name as shown in the
following Figure 15. Choose any color of your choice and you can change it
later. Now click on the Next button

Now you will see the Settings
screen as shown in the following Figure 16, you can choose Customize
to customize your settings or you can choose Use express settings by
default it is selected. Click on Use express settings button. You can
change any of these settings later if you want.

On the next screen, you will see the
Sign in to your PC window as shown in the following Figure 17. Here,
you can choose to sign in with a local account or Microsoft recommend that you
use an existing Microsoft (email) account such as Live.com or a Hotmail.com
account. If you do not have an existing Microsoft account, you can sign up
here, for any one or you can use any email address that you want and Windows 8
will create an account for you.
The advantage of using an Microsoft
account is that you will be able to use the Windows Store, will be able to
easily sync settings between multiple Windows 8 based computers, and be able to
easily take advantage of other Windows 8 features like E-mail Account, Hotmail
calender, Sky Drive etc. I already have a Microsoft account, so I entered it
here and click on the Next button.

After clicking on the Next button
you will see see a screen that changes color as it alerts you the We are
getting your PC ready. The green version of this screen is showing in the
following Figure 18.

After we are getting your PC ready
window you will see a blue screen named Installing apps as shown in the following Figure 19. As you know Windows 8 comes with a bunch of
applications for the Start screen interface that replace and add to the group
of applications. Here, the window install those apps and it will take a few minutes.

Once the apps are installed, you will
see the Start screen as shown in the following Figure 20 and can
begin using Windows 8. Enjoy with using Windows 8 to feeling a new change in
your life.

Now enjoy the the new experience with windows 8. Actually this is designed for touch screen. It is very nice experience with windows 8. It is so beautiful and cute. It's performance is also good. So I want to say thank you to Microsoft for this creation.
